The Centre - Cremorne Riverside
The Cremorne Riverside Centre is situated on the bank of the
Thames in Chelsea. Designed by Sarah Wigglesworth,
the purpose built facility opened in 2008 and was nominated
for various architectural awards.
The twin single-storey buildings are clad with Corten steel,
giving the facility its unique appearance. Modern changing
facilities, complete with warm showers and cage style lockers,
are available for all users.
We are working closely with various partners with the aim of
becoming a carbon-neutral facility. The building currently has
a brown roof in place, and we are hoping to add to this with
some planting and mixed habitat for lone bees and other
wildlife.
